Gwendolyn Nevarez grew up in Costa Mesa, California, where she was homeschooled. It allowed her to spend more time pursuing her passion for the arts at an early age. Her main inspiration as an artist comes from her love of manga, anime, and nature. She was self-taught for five years before enrolling in an art class in high school, where she was encouraged to work with different art mediums. After graduating, she began to sell her work at craft-fairs and her local church. Now in her twenties, she is currently studying at Laguna College of Art and Design and Bellevue University as a graphic design student.
